August 12th, 2013 Monthly Meeting
Our monthly meeting proved to be quite an experience for all the members who attended. At this meeting we approved changes to the bylaws of our county party and we passed a landmark resolution.
The changes to the bylaws involved modification to Rules 6, 7 and 8. These modifications will allow the CCGOP to operate more efficiently and will also allow for proxy voting on important matters regarding the CCGOP. At the meeting the membership passed a landmark resolution in which we voted to censure the United States Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham. This action was taken by roll call vote. The results of this vote, by present members and those who submitted proxies were 98% in favor out of a total vote of 51 members.
